The BookJam’s 6-step Recipe for Nailing the Standards

The BookJam uses a 6-step process to guide each of the core literary elements taught in each book of the BookJam. Alan used this system in his classroom for many years. In Alan’s experience, by the time students have finished moving through the 6-step process, the teacher can clearly tell which kids have mastered the content area standards and which ones still need remediation or reteaching before state testing season rolls around.
